2010 SUMMER SCHOOL

All applications must be filled out online by the student’s Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI). Please talk to your student and his/her parents first to see which classes they want to apply for.  Read "Program Descriptions" carefully to be sure they are appropriate for your student and offered at a time he or she can attend.

To fill out an online application for an individual student, click on “Online Application” below, which will take you to your list of students (your account). If you do not yet have any students assigned to you, this will start that process.

  1. If your student has no existing online application, click on “Add New Student” and enter the requested information.
  2. If your student already has an online application (e.g., an application was completed for a previous Summer or Short-Term Program), click on “Online Application” below, select the student you want, make all necassary changes (e.g., in grade, address, vision, etc.), and select the classes you want for Summer 2010.
  3. If you are the new TVI of a student who already has an online application and need that student changed to your account, send an email to JR Woods at WoodsJ@tsbvi.edu and he will switch the student to your name.  Please check with JR to avoid creating a duplicate application.

Application to TSBVI summer programs does not require an ARD or district referral. There is no cost to the district or parent, although parents need to assure transportation to and from Austin.

Parents, if you want your child to attend a summer program, please make sure his or her Teacher of the Visually Impaired fills out this application by the February 14 deadline. Parents, please contact your child's teacher for assistance filling out this application.
